Each spring we publish the full audited accounts alongside a short letter from the chair and the honorary treasurer explaining, in ordinary English, where last year’s money went and what we got wrong. The full filed copies are also available on the Charity Commission register.

Income £740,938 · charitable expenditure £473,690 · net trading surplus £170,580. Highlights: opening of the second-portable-ultrasound appeal, the eleventh Staff Haven, refurbished café roof, and the appointment of two new trustees.

Income £692,410 · charitable expenditure £441,200. The first full post-pandemic year for the café. Equipment Appeal closed at £62,400 for two new cardiac monitors on Ward 8B.

Income £616,500 · charitable expenditure £378,200. The trolley round resumed full operations; café trading at 92% of pre-pandemic baseline by year-end.

Income £348,400 · charitable expenditure £241,300. A difficult year. The café closed for six months. Direct equipment funding was sustained by legacies and the trustees’ emergency grant from reserves.
