1. Who we are

This site (lfoyhcharity.org) is operated by The League of Friends of the Yeovil Hospitals, a registered charity in England and Wales (number 220038). Our registered office is at 22 Brocks Mount, Stoke-Sub-Hamdon, Somerset, TA14 6PJ.

2. Use of the site

You may use this site to learn about the Friends’ work, make a donation, sign up to volunteer, register for an event, subscribe to the Quarterly Dispatch, or contact us. The site is provided free of charge and on an ‘as is’ basis. We may, from time to time, change or remove content without notice.

3. Accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to keep the content of this site accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that every figure, date or detail is current at every moment. Donation totals, appeal targets, and event listings may shift between updates. Where accuracy matters — for example, the registered details of the charity for a legacy — please confirm with us by writing to the office.

4. Donations

Donations made through this site are voluntary and are processed by our payment processor on a secure connection. If you have made a donation in error or wish to request a refund within seven days, please contact the Honorary Treasurer at [email protected] and we will process it promptly. We do not store full card numbers.

5. Intellectual property

The Friends’ name, logo, photography and written content are the property of The League of Friends of the Yeovil Hospitals or of the contributors we have credited. You may quote short extracts with attribution. For permission to reuse images or longer passages, please write to [email protected].

6. Links to third parties

We sometimes link to external sites, such as the Charity Commission register, the ICO, or our partner organisations. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

7. No clinical advice

Nothing on this site constitutes medical or clinical advice. For non-urgent medical concerns please contact your GP or NHS 111; for urgent concerns please ring 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.
